I'm thrilled that I found this website! I am in awe of the talent I see here! My name is Joanne and I have rekindled my photography hobby after many years away from it. I started taking pictures again a couple years ago and it has become my passion. I get so much pleasure in expressing myself through photography!! I feel complete freedom of expression when I'm shooting. My own personal viewpoint if you will. I seek to capture the 'feeling' of that moment forever....

Thanks Charlie! I'm a big Ansel Adams fan and wish I'd been able to go to one of his work shops when he was alive! He spent a lot of time in Yosemite! Of course he did everything in a darkroom! Digital photography and software has made editing a breeze when you compare the two.

Joanne, This is a wonderful shot. Black and white and the way the landscape looks, it looks like it was in the fifties. I really like it.
