Tribute to Ansel metal print by Joanne Coyle. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I had the chance to visit Yosemite in 2008 for the first time. Of course I took lots of pictures. This valley was stunning. The wild grass with patterns from the blowing wind really caught our attention. It's such a beautiful place especially for photographer's.
I caught this photographer as he was setting up his equipment. Ansel Adam's spent lot's of time in Yosemite and I only wish I had been able to attend one on his famous workshops while he was still alive. He's one of my favorites and so I dedicate this one to him.

Joanne, Ansel would be proud. I visited Yosemite in 1989 and was in awe of the place. A friend of mine took one of Ansel's workshops and has his three books- The Negative, The Camera an The Print signed by him. Wish I could have met him. Thanks for the comments on my work.
